Sweet and Sour Chicken


INGREDIENTS :

Rice Noodles or Rice - 2 cups
Pineapple chunks can - 8 oz can
Chicken broth - 3/4 cup
Vinegar - 1/4cup(Optional)
Brown sugar - 2 teaspoon
Corn flour - 2 tbsp
Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Minced garlic - 1/2 tsp
Celery Sliced - 1 cup
Onion (thinly sliced ) - 1 cup
Green or Red bell pepper - 1 Small
Skinless Boneless Chicken Breast - 1 lb

PREPARATION:

1.Break rice noodles and cover it with warm water and cook for 15 mts while making the chicken gravy.
2.Drain the pineapple chunks and reserve the Juice of it.
3.For the sauce,stir in a bowl the reserved juice ,chicken broth ,vinegar,brown sugar ,corn flour,Soy sauce and set aside.
4.In a pan add oil,fry minced garlic for few seconds and add onions,celery saute them for 5 mts and add sweet pepper and stir fry them for 3 mts and remove from the pan.
5.Now add chicken to the pan and stir fry for 5 mts and now add the sauce to the wok and cook until the sauce becomes thick and chicken becomes softer.
6.Add the vegies and pineapple chunks to it ,add the sugar and cook and stir for 3 mts.
7.The Sweet and Sour chicken gravy can be had with rice noodles or hot rice.
