Gram Flour - 1 Cup
Sugar - 2 Cups
Ghee - 2 Cups
PREPARATION :
1.Gram flour should be seived to avoid lumps during the preparation.
2. First make the sugar syrup ,out of 2 cups of sugar. The water must be a little above the sugar level to attain the exact consistency of the syrup to be made.
3.keep the Ghee ready. You can also make ghee by melting the unsalted butter or can use the readymade one.
4. once the syrup is ready ,add gram flour using a spoon little by little into it ,and meanwhile keep stirring it so that lumps are not formed.
5.When the mixture boils,add little ghee and keep stirring.
6. The gram flour and the ghee should be added alternatively as and wen u find the ghee being absorbed by the flour.
7.After adding all the flour and ghee ,keep the stove in medium flame and continue stirring the mixture until it thickens and u get to see porous consistency of the mixture.
8. Below is the picture of the exact consistency of mysore pak where you could transfer it to a greased pan.
8. You can tranfer the contents to a greased pan and allow the mixture to solidify.
9.Then after few minutes you can cut it into desired shapes .
Mysore pak i made for the first time was delicious..melts in mouth jus like Sri krishna Sweets Mysore pa:)
